I’ve been thinking a lot about how blessed I am to live in Utah with my family nearby. I sometimes think about if I had stayed in Colorado and had to go through this process and how hard it would be without my parents, sister and my in-laws. I was stuck in a rut before I moved out here because I wanted to be a few hours from my parents and minutes away from my sister. I knew that I would get the support I needed. I was with family in Colorado, but being close to your parents and sister is just different. I will forever be grateful for the time I spent in Colorado, but it was only meant to be for a season.
Now that my parents have moved to Utah also, I only have to drive a short time to see them and it is so nice to be able to go and get a Father’s Blessing or just go to their house to get out of mine. Seeing my nieces and nephews grow up has been one of the biggest blessings also. It helps me want to have kids more so that they can all grow up together.
